রাশিয়ায় আন্তর্জাতিক যুব উৎসবে পূর্ণ অর্থায়নে নির্বাচিত বাংলাদেশি তরুণ নাঈমুর হোসেন-

নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদক: বাংলাদেশি তরুণ উদ্যোক্তা, যুব সংগঠক ও স্বেচ্ছাসেবক নাঈমুর হোসেন চলতি বছর রাশিয়ায় অনুষ্ঠিতব্য বিশ্বের অন্যতম বড় আন্তর্জাতিক যুব আয়োজন “International Festival of Youth (IFY) 2026”-এ পূর্ণ অর্থায়নে অংশগ্রহণের সুযোগ পেয়েছেন।

আগামী ১১ থেকে ১৭ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৬ রাশিয়ার ইয়েকাতেরিনবার্গে সাত দিনব্যাপী এ আন্তর্জাতিক আয়োজন অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন দেশ থেকে প্রায় ১০ হাজার তরুণ এতে অংশগ্রহণ করবেন। এর মধ্যে মাত্র ১ হাজার জনকে পূর্ণ অর্থায়নে অংশগ্রহণের জন্য নির্বাচিত করা হয়েছে। নির্বাচিতদের যাতায়াত, থাকা ও খাবারসহ আয়োজন-সংশ্লিষ্ট নির্ধারিত ব্যয় আয়োজক কর্তৃপক্ষ বহন করবে।

নাঈমুর হোসেন বাংলাদেশ ইউনিভার্সিটি অব বিজনেস অ্যান্ড টেকনোলজি (BUBT)-এর অর্থনীতি বিভাগের স্নাতক চতুর্থ বর্ষের শিক্ষার্থী। পড়াশোনার পাশাপাশি তিনি দীর্ঘদিন ধরে যুব নেতৃত্ব, স্বেচ্ছাসেবা, সামাজিক উন্নয়ন ও দক্ষতা বৃদ্ধিমূলক বিভিন্ন কার্যক্রমের সঙ্গে যুক্ত রয়েছেন।

তিনি বাংলাদেশ স্কাউটসের গোল্ডেন ঈগল ওপেন এয়ার স্কাউট গ্রুপের সিনিয়র রোভার মেট, বাংলাদেশ ন্যাশনাল ক্যাডেট কোর (BNCC)-এর সাবেক ক্যাডেট আন্ডার অফিসার (CUO), লিও ক্লাব অব ঢাকা ডাইনামিক ওয়ান-এর মেম্বারশিপ চেয়ারপারসন ও সাবেক সভাপতি এবং রোটারেক্ট ক্লাব অব ঢাকা অরকিড-এর সহসভাপতি হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন। এছাড়াও জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ের ৪০টিরও বেশি স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠনে বিভিন্ন সময়ে বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদে দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন তিনি।

নাঈমুরের নেতৃত্বে সুবিধাবঞ্চিত মানুষের সহায়তা, যুব উন্নয়ন, সামাজিক সচেতনতা, স্বেচ্ছাসেবা ও দক্ষতা উন্নয়নকেন্দ্রিক বিভিন্ন উদ্যোগ বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছে। আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়েও রয়েছে তার অংশগ্রহণের অভিজ্ঞতা। এর আগে তিনি “World Scout Jamboree 2023, South Korea” এবং “Indo-Bangla Friendship Camp, India”-এ বাংলাদেশের প্রতিনিধিত্ব করেছেন।

স্বেচ্ছাসেবা, যুব নেতৃত্ব ও সামাজিক কর্মকাণ্ডে অবদানের স্বীকৃতিস্বরূপ তিনি পেয়েছেন বাংলাদেশ স্কাউটসের “National Service Award 2020”, “Number Two to the National Service Award 2021” এবং “Community Development Award 2023”-সহ বিভিন্ন সম্মাননা ও পদক। এছাড়াও BNCC-এর শ্রেষ্ঠ কমান্ডার, শ্রেষ্ঠ ক্যাডেট এবং শ্রেষ্ঠ Leo of the Camp-সহ বিভিন্ন স্বীকৃতি অর্জন করেছেন।

IFY 2026-এ পূর্ণ অর্থায়নে নির্বাচিত হওয়ার বিষয়ে নাঈমুর হোসেন বলেন, “আন্তর্জাতিক পরিসরে বাংলাদেশের প্রতিনিধিত্ব করার সুযোগ পাওয়া আমার জন্য অত্যন্ত সম্মানের। এ ধরনের আন্তর্জাতিক আয়োজন থেকে অর্জিত জ্ঞান, অভিজ্ঞতা ও আন্তর্জাতিক যোগাযোগ দেশের তরুণদের উন্নয়ন, প্রযুক্তিনির্ভর শিক্ষা এবং আত্মউন্নয়নের কাজে লাগাতে চাই।”

তিনি আরও বলেন, আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ে তরুণদের সঙ্গে মতবিনিময় এবং নতুন ধারণা ও অভিজ্ঞতা অর্জনের মাধ্যমে বাংলাদেশের যুবসমাজের জন্য নতুন সম্ভাবনার দ্বার উন্মোচন করতে চান।

নাঈমুর হোসেনের এই অর্জন শুধু তার ব্যক্তিগত সাফল্য নয়, বরং বাংলাদেশের তরুণদের জন্য আন্তর্জাতিক সুযোগ অনুসন্ধান, দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন এবং একটি শক্তিশালী ব্যক্তিগত ও পেশাগত পোর্টফোলিও গড়ে তোলার ক্ষেত্রেও অনুপ্রেরণার উদাহরণ হয়ে উঠবে বলে সংশ্লিষ্টরা মনে করছেন।

Eng: Bangladesh Youth Naimur Hossain Selected for Fully Funded International Youth Festival in Russia- h

Own Correspondent: Bangladeshi young entrepreneur, youth organizer, and volunteer Naimur Hossain has been selected with full funding to participate in the International Festival of Youth (IFY) 2026, one of the world’s major international youth gatherings, to be held in Russia this year.

The seven-day international event will take place from September 11 to 17, 2026, in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Around 10,000 young people from different countries are expected to participate, while only 1,000 participants have been selected for fully funded participation. For the selected participants, the organizers will cover designated expenses related to the event, including travel, accommodation, and meals.

Naimur Hossain is a fourth-year undergraduate student in the Department of Economics at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT). Alongside his studies, he has been actively involved for several years in youth leadership, volunteering, social development, and skill-development initiatives.

1. He currently serves as a Seniohr Rover Mate of Golden Eagle Open Air Scout Group under Bangladesh Scouts, and is a former Cadet Under Officer (CUO) of the Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC). He has also served as Membership Chairperson and former President of Leo Club of Dhaka Dynamic One, and currently serves as Vice President of Rotaract Club of Dhaka Orchid. In addition, he has held various leadership and volunteer positions in more than 40 national and international volunteer organizations at different times.

Under Naimur’s leadership, various initiatives have been undertaken focusing on supporting underprivileged communities, youth development, social awareness, volunteerism, and skills development. He also has experience participating in international youth and scouting programs. Previously, he represented Bangladesh at the World Scout Jamboree 2023 in South Korea and the Indo-Bangla Friendship Camp in India.

In recognition of his contributions to volunteering, youth leadership, and social activities, he has received several awards and honors, including the Bangladesh Scouts National Service Award 2020, Number Two to the National Service Award 2021, and Community Development Award 2023. He has also received various recognitions, including Best Commander, Best Cadet, and Best Leo of the Camp under different programs.

Speaking about his selection for the fully funded IFY 2026, Naimur Hossain said, “It is a great honor for me to have the opportunity to represent Bangladesh on an international platform. I want to utilize the knowledge, experience, and international connections I gain from this event to contribute to youth development, technology-driven education, and personal development in Bangladesh.”

He further expressed his desire to open new opportunities for the youth of Bangladesh by exchanging ideas and experiences with young people from around the world and gaining new perspectives through international engagement.

Naimur Hossain’s achievement is not only a personal success but also an inspiring example for Bangladeshi youth in exploring international opportunities, developing their skills, and building strong personal and professional portfolios, according to those familiar with his work.
